The Weekly Paws
Hello Pack!
We are excited to share some incredible updates with you this week!
Record-Breaking Month: We are thrilled to announce that we have saved 50 dog paws this month – the highest rate of rescues we’ve ever seen! Thank you to all our fosters and volunteers for making this possible.
Parvo Survivors: We are overjoyed to report that two dogs have survived Parvo and are now thriving in their foster homes! A huge thank you to our dedicated fosters for stepping up to care for them, and a special shoutout to Meadowbrook for the exceptional medical care they provided.
Meet Ryena: We would like to introduce you to Ryena, our second hospice dog in the program. After surviving pyometra surgery, she’s on the mend and starting to feel better! A heartfelt thank you to Kassie for her dedication in nursing Ryena back to health. The total cost for her care has reached $1600 and counting.
Heartworm Treatment: Currently, we have four heartworm positive dogs undergoing treatment, with a fifth wrapping up their care. All heartworm positive dogs are eligible for foster-to-adopt, so if you’re interested in giving one of these sweet pups a chance, please reach out!
Barktion Alert: Don’t forget, Barktion is happening next weekend! We currently have 18 baskets ready for the event. Be sure to join us for a fun-filled day!
Garage Sale Coming Up: Mark your calendars for the first week of May for our garage sale! Glenda and Alyssa will be sharing updates on where to donate items. Please remember to price your items beforehand, and ensure they are clean and in good condition – something you wouldn’t throw away yourself.
Mini Golf Event: We’re in the works for a mini golf event this summer! Megan will post more details as they’re finalized, so stay tuned!
Get Involved: If you’re interested in chairing a fundraiser or being part of a committee, please let Kassie or Alyssa know. We’d love to have your support!
We appreciate everyone who has stepped up and committed to several new initiatives. Together, we can make a difference for our furry friends!
